Operation: Love Reunited

Love & Laughter Photography proudly and humbly supports Operation: Love Reunited.

OP: Love is a non-profit organization that offers professional photography sessions for deploying military service members and their loved ones for free. these special sessions, with a patriotic edge, are planned around deployments and are reserved for deploying, deployed and returning military families. The sessions are designed to capture moments for you to remember. It’s art. it’s love. And it is all made possible by artists wanting to give something back to those who make the United Stated what it is. These service members ask for nothing in return - but to come home.

Love & Laughter Photography is excited to give these special families a gift of an OP: Love complimentary session package.

Each family will recieve:

  • One pre-deployment or already deployed family photo session
  • one reuniting session at the homecoming of the service member
  • a 5×7 album with up to 25 retouched images from each session (2 albums total)

This is $600 worth of custom photography per family!

If you are a member of the United States Military, and are interested in having very special and touching images with a patriotic edge taken of you and/or your family before a deployment or during, and at your reunion, please contact me and visit www.oplove.org for more information. A limited number of sessions are available.

Love & Laughter Photography proudly and humbly supports the Pink Initiative.

Who: Pink Initiative is a collection of wedding industry professionals and private donors dedicated to funding awareness, outreach, education and research for breast cancer.

Why: Breast cancer affects one in eight women in her lifetime. We’re helping because we can. Breast cancer survivor Tina Koral says it best in her memoir If I Just Breathe:

“The photographs from my wedding day show a joyful young couple, visibly excited to start a new life together. The promise of a happy home full of children shone in our eyes. The thrill of that day, of marrying my childhood love in a city filled with romance, will stay with me forever. What I did not know at the time was that along with something old, new, borrowed and blue, I carried a seven centimeter, rapidly growing mass of malignant cells in my breast. I was twenty-nine years old.”

Join us: If you are a wedding professional and would like to get involved, please check out the website.

Love & Laughter Photography is excited to announce that beginning October 2010 we will be donating annually 10% of all October proceeds to the Pink Initiative.

In addition, as a way to help this become a year-round activity, we will continually donate 10% of all proceeds from any 2010 Boudoir session to the Pink Initiative.
