Birth photography is not a very common form of photography, but I believe it is one of the most cherished photo sessions of all.
Births are my favorite events to capture. I love telling the story, I love capturing the raw emotions, I love to put it all together to music that makes the new mama cry happy tears every time she watches the slideshow. Birth photography is, hands down, the most fulfilling part of my job. The phone calls I receive from the new mother’s after the experience make those late nights and long hours ABSOLUTELY worth all of the work. I love it. If I could run around covering the birth of new babies all day every day, I would do it.
Unfortunately, births are unpredictable and can happen when you least expect them to. This makes scheduling a bit difficult. Because of this, I only book one birth a month so that I can assure the mom-to-be I will be in HER birthing room instead of a few doors down in another room with another new mom!
The opportunity to capture your birth story along with all the emotions and activity in your birthing room through a journalistic, unobtrusive approach is a true honor to me. I would love to capture this truly once in-a-lifetime moment for you to keep on disc forever.

- 24 hours on call for one week surrounding your due date
- Up to 8 hours of photographic coverage

A $200 retainer is required to book your birth session. If some act of God causes me to miss your birth, your retainer can be used as a collection credit for a complimentary newborn session.
