Campaign Giveaway #4 | Enveloped with Love

I have had a really wonderful time with these giveaways this month. I am a gift-giver at heart and I love to go all out with gifts; from the item, to the wrapping details, to the final touch of the perfect card. So I want to open this giveaway by saying that THIS gift set? This is the one that makes my heart skip a beat. I LOVE this gift set… :)

Have I told you all how much I love stationary? How about paper? I am pretty sure I’ve mentioned my love for paper here. I have been known to pick up brochures for completely random products/services that I have ZERO interest in simply because the brochure is pretty. Oh, yes. In addition, I have been collecting stationary for YEARS now and I have boxes full of beautiful cards and papers to use “some day.” In fact, I had to swear off purchasing anymore stationary for myself until I started actually running out of what I currently own. I buy the pretty things and then can’t bring myself to use them because I want to save them for special occassions. Ridiculous, I know.

But! Who says I can’t buy stationary for you?! That is exactly what I am going to do!

stationary

This week’s contest winner will receive a lovely stationary set that includes:

  • A $25 gift certificate to the sweet unfolding etsy shop to purchase your own set of personalized stationary + envelopes
  • “On a Personal Note: a guide to writing notes with style ” by Angela Ensminger & Keeley Chace
  • Genuine Nepalese paper and matching envelopes
  • An adorable In Touch Clutch from the awesome downstairs Designs etsy shop, complete with
    • one book of Forever stamps
    • a fountain pen (with an extra ink cartridge)
    • one thank you postcard
    • one adorable card + envelope

Yay! I’m so excited to give this gift set! (It’s actually pretty tough not keeping it all to myself, I’m not gonna lie.) To enter this week’s giveaway simply tell me what some of YOUR favorite things are. Do you collect anything? Do you spend way too much money on something special that you love? Share, share!

You can also gain other entries simply by sharing this contest in your RSS Reader, on Google Buzz, Facebook, Twitter, or blog about it on your blog. For every time you share about the contest, come back and leave an additional comment on this entry letting me know! Each comment counts as one entry.

You have until midnight of Friday, February 26th to enter as many times as you would like. Have fun and good luck!

February 22, 2010 - 1:24 pm Kristin V - Another fabulous giveaway! You are rocking it Liz! So I am a little ashamed to admit it but I collect Disney Pins. Mainly Tinkerbell. I started over ten years ago and I cannot stop myself. I am not sure I collect them because I love them, but I do love getting to meet other people from all over the world while trading them; that is what really feeds my addiction ;).

February 22, 2010 - 1:26 pm Sara - Love love love this!! What a fantastic giveaway Liz! Let's see...my favorite things: good food, good friends, and a good life. I like to collect those :) ha. I can't really collect anything in such a small space, but I can collect experiences!

February 22, 2010 - 1:27 pm EmilyG - Favorite things... hmm... Well, i definitely collect make-up and spend too much $$ on it! ;) I also collect shot glasses (at least one from most places i've travelled to in the last 6 years or so) and interesting lighters. I also collect bottles from foreign countries & have used them in decorating our guest bedroom (i love when something i collect is useful). Btw, i too "collect" cards and sometimes stationary. And i too have a hard time actually USING the cards and stationary i love most. BUT i've tried to actually start using them because what's the point of having such lovely communication tools if i'm not going to send them to people? ;) -EmG.

February 22, 2010 - 1:30 pm Jennie - I have started collecting Buddha statues, but I only have a few. :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:33 pm EmilyG - Allllso... Jimmy collects Penguins (and i guess i really do too). We have a small christmas tree that has been dubbed our "Penguin tree". Actually... it's still up (we didn't have the <3 to take it down while it was still so wintery outside). That needs to be taken care of and soon. -EG

February 22, 2010 - 1:35 pm erin - ooh i LOVE stationary, and i always swear that i will write more letters and send more post... but i just never spend the money on stationary that i want to. i do collect journals though... and have too many, is that possible? love this!

February 22, 2010 - 1:37 pm nancy - favorites! oh, man. for me, i have a huge weakness for adorable, quirky mugs. i drink tea almost every day and it just brings happiness to my day to have fun colors, textures, and designs on my mugs. also, i'm a sucker for good music and am always spending too much on an awesome new band or discovering an old classic. for christmas i bought my boyfriend a record player.... but deep down i think i bought it for myself. :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:38 pm Jennifer Prince - Where are you getting this stuff?!?! It is all amazing!! :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:38 pm Tyler - My favorite things are new kitchen tools. I just got a bunch of stuff from Pampered Chef and I've been cooking with all of it! I've been cooking more than usual too so I can use them all and see how they work! I try not to spend too much money on cooking tools but if I got to a Pampered Chef party or walk past William Sonoma I know I'll be coming home with a lighter pocket book but with lots of cool gadgets to play with.

February 22, 2010 - 1:38 pm Ashley - I collect wine labels. Actually ever since I was a little girl, I can always remember my mom saving the wine bottle when it was empty. She would put a wet paper towel on it and leave it in the sink until the label peeled off. My grandfather (we call him popsie), who is actually a wine maker, has collected them too. In his house that he and my uncle built, he has a very special bathroom where all of his labels are displayed. He pastes them on the wall with hodge podge glue as his very own special wallpaper! So that's why my mom always saved them because she wanted to one day continue the tradition and create a wallpaper on her own. Well my Popsie has since remarried and moved out of his house which my mom just moved into last summer. She adds to the wallpaper often. Now that I have graduated, I am spending time at my mom's and every time we have a bottle of wine, I very carefully remove the label, and pasted it on the wall. I'd say probably half of the bathroom wall is covered now. It is one of the neatest things I've ever seen. Before I would paste my labels on the bathroom, I would put them in a journal and write notes about the wine, when we drank it, if it was a special occasion, etc. I think one day when Cory and I have our own house, I can see us creating our own collector's edition wallpaper :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:39 pm Abbey Howe - Those look so adorable! I would love to read that book, i always struggle with what to say

February 22, 2010 - 1:39 pm Jennifer Prince - Oh, and I love vintage clothing, which is my new fetish, and that is breaking my bank right now!! :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:40 pm Colleen - I LOVE to make memories with my husband, spend special time with old friends, travel, eat healthy food and drink good red wine! :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:45 pm emily finkel - my favourite things are home goodies.... namely- candles. a girl can never have too many candles. and, of course, good music. if ever i am home, there is music playing and there are candles lit....

February 22, 2010 - 1:46 pm deea - I never win giveaways, but I can't keep myself from trying! My favorite things, hmmmmmm. Most of what I love, for me, I never spend $ on because I feel selfish if I do, so I end up spending it on things I enjoy, but can share. Food and cooking, mainly. What delights my heart are things like world travel, writing, music, family, friends, photography, and creating things others can enjoy. :)

February 22, 2010 - 1:51 pm Becca M - I collect shot glasses and have collected them since I was a little girl. I used to think that they were miniature tea glasses :)

February 22, 2010 - 2:03 pm Julie - Oh my. Well, I guess the thing that I'm drawn to is beautiful fabric. In bright colors, please! I love Amy Butler fabric, and would love to make all kinds of fun home things with it, but the problem is that I am not quite the proficient seamstress. Working on that, though! I also love coffee. NO really, share with me a good cup of coffee, and I am forever your friend! I love this giveaway. Everything's so cute!

February 22, 2010 - 2:04 pm Anna - I guess the only thing I really collect are books! If I had the money, I would love to own first editions of my favorites (To Kill A Mockingbird among them). I love to organize the books on my shelves and sort them into favorites and to be read piles and I love to share them with others. I'm currently working on my quest to own all first editions of Harry Potter before the price becomes astronomical. It would be so easy to blow most of my money at stores like Givens and Barnes and Noble. Thank goodness for paperbackswap.com!

February 22, 2010 - 2:10 pm dustin - This is beautiful! I also love paper and stationary, as well as books, flowers, and textiles. I'm getting cozy just thinking about it all!

I was just thinking how I want to break out my paper journal again, and write letters. I had pen pals as a child, and have nearly a dozen (mostly filled) journals. Thanks for the sweet giveaways!

February 22, 2010 - 2:39 pm Jill Daugherty - I'm pretty sure I'm a collector at heart - my husband calls me a hoarder (but I've seen the show, and am definitely not a hoarder!) My favorite things to collect are memories from when my brother and I were little, pictures and books. I keep all the books I read just because I like to look at them!

February 22, 2010 - 2:52 pm E.Nikol Brown - This give away is a wonderful idea!! My b-day is coming up on the 1st of March and I am thinking I will be starting a stationary collection, maybe even start collecting envelope seals and wax...mmmm...

February 22, 2010 - 3:10 pm Ashley Wickline - I know this sounds crazy but I love mail (with the exception of bills).. February 24, 2010 - 1:21 pm Katie Santiago - Hmm, favorite things...I do love hats! And scarves...and bandannas. I have quite a collection of all those. For a real collection though, I'd have to count my memory box collection...tidbits from my memories in life.

February 24, 2010 - 1:56 pm Bridget - The only thing I collect is one piece of random artwork from each place that I travel, I started back in high school and have slowly been building the collection ever since. Instead of buying souvenir t-shirts or shot glasses, I just get one painting or photograph that reminds me of that place from a street market or shop. Now I have a huge wall of pictures that are bright colors, black and white, huge, tiny… Of course they don’t match each other at all, but they all seem to go together because of the memories attached to them.

It's very exciting!! thea. xx
