Campaign Giveaway #2 |Something Special

So, I am going out of order for my giveaways. But I can’t help it, I really wanted to do this one this week. I think it was the combination of being snowed in and the upcoming Valentine’s Day holiday. In either case, I wanted to offer a little luxury to my blog readers TODAY. So!! I am sooo excited to announce this week’s prize!

spa

This week’s giveaway is a lovely Spa Kit. It includes:

  • A lotion, body wash, bath salt and scrubby set.
  • A spa music CD. (Mmm I wish I could keep this one for myself.)
  • A pair of soft, plush slippers.
  • A Luxe candle.
  • And the kicker! A $50 gift card to the spa of your choice. :)

Mmmmmm I ADORE trips to the spa and I am super excited to give one of my lucky readers a trip as well!

To enter this week’s giveaway simply leave a comment telling me what your definition of relaxation is. Coffee and a book? A day at the spa? Movie and popcorn with your BFF? Fill me in!

You can also gain other entries simply by sharing about this contest on Facebook, Twitter or your blog. For every time you post about the contest, come back and leave an additional comment letting me know! Each comment counts as one entry. You have until midnight of Tuesday, February 16th to enter as many times as you would like.

Good luck!! I will be announcing the winner of this contest on Wednesday, February 17th.

February 8, 2010 - 8:57 am Julie - If I'm with my kids and husband, I just love to go on any outing (park, orchard, etc.). However, if it's just me with no children, I love a good mani/pedi and time at a coffee shop to sip some coffee and edit photos or read or knit/crochet. Sometimes it's nice just to have some alone time! :)

February 8, 2010 - 9:31 am emily finkel - i feel most relaxed when my kitchen is clean and i am enjoying a good/deep/thought-provoking conversation with a friend... my kitchen has to be clean though, or else, it will be in the back of my mind somewhere which will prevent me from fully relaxing.

February 8, 2010 - 9:32 am Christina - To me, relaxation means being completely free from schedules, jobs, or time. When I am at the beach, I am most relaxed. Sun, sand, waves; all my senses are being overwhelmed with happiness there.

February 8, 2010 - 9:34 am Christina - Tweet-tweeted :)

February 8, 2010 - 9:36 am Aimee - My relaxation is being with my husband in a cabin in the woods - my favorite vacation! Only thing that would've made it better would have for there to have been a hammock and warmer weather for swimming.

February 8, 2010 - 9:41 am EmilyG. - Had to think about this a bit... there are lots of things that relax me... but I think the top three are these: 1) A bath followed by snuggling in bed. 2)The Beach (i <3 laying on the beach and soaking up the sun). 3) A good massage (never have had a professional one, but Jimmy does a good job). I'll be back once this is tweeted/in FB. ;) -EmilyG.

February 8, 2010 - 9:52 am EmilyG. - Annnnd Facebooked! :)

February 8, 2010 - 10:01 am Anna - My idea of relaxation is sleeping in on a weekend morning and then eating breakfast in bed with my husband (even if it's just cereal) while watching cheesey Saturday morning shows (as in Saved By The Bell)! And if we can stay in pj's for as long as possible, that just adds to the relaxation.

February 8, 2010 - 10:06 am emily finkel - blogged

February 8, 2010 - 11:22 am Ashley - Relaxation: A good book, bag of candy and no plans for the entire day!

February 8, 2010 - 11:49 am Deanna Holderith - There are a few things that relax me, but a couple are a bubble bath with candles lit and relaxing music softly playing in the background or heading to a cabin in the mountains...there is one not far from where I live that has it's own hot springs pool right outside the door...nothing better than soaking in that hot spring pool with the sound of the creek and a vast open sky full of stars above!

February 8, 2010 - 12:05 pm Mary Leahy - Relaxation is a hot bath and a hot cup of tea, a movie w/friends, cuddling with my man on the couch, game night! and a shower after a great workout. Even talking on the phone for an hour w/a close friend and praying together is very relaxing to me.

February 8, 2010 - 12:10 pm Mary Leahy - Retweeted

February 8, 2010 - 12:13 pm Mary Leahy - Facebook'ed as well! You rock Liz!

February 8, 2010 - 1:19 pm amanda - relaxation means a day in my house with no husband, no kids, no chores. it's drinking coffee in bed while perusing the stack of magazines that just keep piling up, a long hot shower where no one knocks on the door to ask me a question, listening to mama music (read: no Hannah Montana or Taylor Swift) while surfing the web, reading on the sofa in the late afternoon light...it means quiet!

February 8, 2010 - 1:22 pm amanda - i tweeted! http://twitter.com/AmandaMaysHuye/status/8819039330

February 8, 2010 - 1:34 pm Chelsey - Ohman, my definition of relaxation? I think a day at the hot springs would be nice right about now ... or a morning of sleeping in following by a massage ... I'm not sure what alternate universe that happens in, but I'd love to live there! :)

February 8, 2010 - 1:45 pm Hollie - Relaxation is being curled up on my big sofa with a good book and my best four legged friend!

February 8, 2010 - 1:49 pm Hollie - Facebooked!

February 8, 2010 - 2:17 pm Tammy - If and when my husband returns Jan 2011 from his 2nd deployment to Iraq and walks in the door. The relaxing feeling I will get from having a 3 year old, 2 year old and 5 month old by myself with my husband finally home will be priceless!

February 8, 2010 - 2:29 pm Brett Searles - My idea of relaxation would be a nice big mug of chai in one hand and a book in the other! You can't beat that!

February 8, 2010 - 2:34 pm Brett Searles - retweeted!

February 8, 2010 - 4:28 pm Shahanna - Relaxation...right now would be a hot cup of coffee and my cozy couch...but the best relaxation would be the warm sun at the beach (Nags Head) and the waves crashing:)

February 8, 2010 - 4:34 pm Shahanna - Posted on blog.

February 8, 2010 - 6:17 pm Becky W - Sittin outside on a comfy porch swing enjoying the sunrise (or sunset) with a good cup of tea!

February 9, 2010 - 11:27 am Greer Powers - Relaxation is a good movie and popcorn with my family, or a cup of Earl Grey and a good book. (Pretty much anything that doesn't involve a nursing textbook)

February 9, 2010 - 11:57 am Theresa Daly - To relax to have my journal and a cup of coffee at Panera, along with my Bible too. But, if money wasn't an issue, a day at the spa would be very high on the list!

February 9, 2010 - 12:59 pm kim gafford - Relaxation is that feeling you get after both kids(4 and 10 months) have fallen asleep and you realize you have no grading or planning to do for the next day at school AND you actually have enough energy to enjoy your husband's company and watch what you want on tv.

February 9, 2010 - 3:22 pm Theresa Daly - I set a link to the giveaway on my blog...Hoping to win :) Thanks!

February 9, 2010 - 3:24 pm Theresa Daly - Posted it on my profile on facebook!!

February 9, 2010 - 6:24 pm Alicia Mudd - First, I just wanted to say I love reading your blogs and love, love, love looking at your pictures! Okay, back to the task at hand, I enjoy being cuddled up with a blanket and my hubby on the couch watching a good movie. I also feel really relaxed on weekend mornings when we get to sleep in, wake up and share a cup of coffee together on the couch. Ahh, pure relaxation and it's so simple that I can do it just about anytime I want. :)

February 9, 2010 - 8:31 pm Brianna - Ultimate in relaxation . . . sitting in the lounger watching The Little Mermaid with my 17 month old who touches my face, gives sweet baby kisses, points out facial features (nose, eyes, mouth, etc.) and crashes against my chest. I never expected this kind of peace and I thank God for it.

February 9, 2010 - 8:34 pm Brianna - FBed your giveaway . . . fingers crossed

February 9, 2010 - 8:40 pm Brianna - Added you to my blog!

February 10, 2010 - 12:07 am Tara - A weekend where there is nothing planned. I can sleep in on Saturday, and just enjoy staying home and then on Sunday, enjoy church services with a Sunday afternoon nap in between!

February 10, 2010 - 9:13 am Summer - the beach and sun. that is all I need. just one week at the beach recharges me for an entire year.

February 10, 2010 - 9:15 am Summer - I also just put it on facebook!

February 10, 2010 - 9:18 am Summer - Just "buzzed" about it on google!

February 11, 2010 - 1:47 pm Adriana W - I would have to agree with Emily Finkle.. I feel the most relax when my house is clean, but specially my kitchen, it NEEDS to be clean for me to be relaxed.

February 11, 2010 - 2:30 pm Emilly Basalla - Not really sure i can keep up with all the names that keep tweeting and retweeting, but relaxation is any moment of peace or tranquility that i can find throughout the course of the day. It may be in a car, in my bed, on my couch or with friends. :) Love ya, Liz.

February 11, 2010 - 2:32 pm Samuel Schultz - A long drive late at night with my music playing. Summer nights sitting outside watching the stars, laying in the grass. Quiet evenings on the porch.

February 12, 2010 - 2:42 pm kristen - Most relaxing moments are either home alone with the dog and the house is quiet and I can lay on my couch and read or snugglin up with the boy watching a movie!!

February 13, 2010 - 9:45 am Shahanna - Posted on Facebook:) Oh and Brian said to clarify that he would give it to his mom if he won....

February 13, 2010 - 9:51 am Betsy - What an awesome gift! You rock. : ) You know, I really don't escape and relax unless I shut off my phone, leave the house and go to a spa. It doesn't happen often, but I totally recharge my batteries there. THe only downside is when it's over! I will say, that my body does relax a notch when I upload a finished client gallery online. Even more so once I hear back that everything is ok! Happy V Day!

February 13, 2010 - 10:14 am Imene - Tea and knitting. Pure relaxation!

February 15, 2010 - 9:56 am Sara - ...a few hours by myself to read a book at a quiet coffee shop.

February 15, 2010 - 10:49 am Lydia - I love vacationing in Charleston. Such a beautiful, fun, but completely relaxed atmosphere. I hate being rushed and I love the feeling that there are all kinds of interesting things to do, but all the time in the world to do them, or to just relax and do nothing if that's what sounds best.

February 15, 2010 - 10:50 am Lydia - Facebooked it.

February 15, 2010 - 10:51 am Lydia - Twittered.

February 15, 2010 - 11:06 am Lynda C - The alarm goes off at 5:30AM but the thought of a warm, steamy cup of coffee in hand while snuggling down into the bed covers uges me out of the bed! Got to have Vanilla Caramel creamer to top off my mug of Joe! So I quickly run back to my bed -- coffee in hand hoping not to spill any! -- and wiggle on down under the blankets and snuggle on over next to my honey! For the next hour and 1/2 I savor the coffee while listening to the Today Show or lstening to some classical music. This is the relax I need to start a day I know will be hectic! Some deep breathing along with inhaling the sweet smell of my coffee prepares me for the onslaught of children I will face when I enter my school building. . .

February 15, 2010 - 5:29 pm Rachel - My favorite way to relax is on the porch with a cup of coffee and an inspiring book.
