Do you have a stocking hanging for your pet? The Obama’s do. And so do we. I learned the hard way not to fill those stockings until Christmas morning because those dogs can smell their treats a mile away!

When Tommy and I returned from our Tennessee vacation, I took a week’s worth of mail out of the mailbox and proceeded to drop it on the couch. A few hours later, our dogs were helping themselves to our mail. That happened to be a very rare scene. (In fact, I don’t think they have ever done that before.) Mostly because I’ve never had a couch to drop mail on before, so the dogs never had the opportunity to reach it. However, as it turned out, they apparently figured out that there was a piece of mail in that pile addressed specifically to them. Oh yes! It was from their cousins, Stormy and Apple. (Seriously, Tommy’s sister Becca is the sweetest pet owner in the world.) Check out their first ever Christmas card!

As you can also see, Traveller wasn’t big on sharing this gift. Good thing Hawkeye is a sweetie pie, or else there may have been a battle over this one!
