Operation: Love | Lynchburg Military Photographer

The reunited part will have to wait a few months. (A year?) :)

I had the pleasure of meeting up with this crazy beautiful and so in love family this afternoon. The light was delicious after the rain we had today and I couldn’t wait to get some of these images online. The Mr. here is headed out for a one year deployment the same day as my man and the Mrs. is so patiently willing to wait until after the guys are gone to receive her final images. :) In the meantime, I hope the next few can hold them over for a month or so.

I so love being a part of capturing something so cherished for these families. At one point during the session I saw a little look pass through the eyes of Amy and I said out loud “I know exactly what you are thinking in this moment.” She giggled. She knows. I know. It’s a surreal feeling, but she did her best to soak in those moments. I am so, so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture them for this family. I hope these images will give them something to hold onto during the next year.
