Gratituesday: a hodge-podge

Gah… this week! So much has been going on personally, professionally, futuristically (is that even a word?). Life is about to change in some big ways and I am excited, nervous, sad, scared, and list could go on. I don’t even know where to BEGIN with this week’s Gratituesday. That’s mostly why I am posting it so late in the day… I’ve been putting it off.

But don’t let that make you think I’m not grateful! Oh boy am I grateful for SO much this week. That said, this week I would just like to throw out a hodge podge of all of the things I am grateful for. Feel free to chime in and share what you are most grateful for this week as well.

  • cameras, to document things for faraway family members.
  • the beautiful, gorgeous, refreshing weather we have been enjoying!
  • the new colors on the trees.
  • extra husband time.
  • my new canon 100mm 2.0 macro lens!
  • change. I love change, whether it is good or bad, it’s always an adventure!
  • being a part of last-minute wedding planning. So exciting!
  • the ability and ease to communicate with faraway friends through the internet, skype, blogs, facebook, etc.
  • incredible clients who trust me and my work.
  • family.
  • heaven and the faith I have knowing when loved ones pass, I (we) will see them again.
  • that life will never be the same again. Even though the past has been great, I look forward to an even greater future.

So… yes. Big week. Can you tell? I am sure I will be announcing more in the future. Stay tuned!

And here’s a quick sneak peek from Saturday’s AMAZING wedding! I had a blast sharing the day with Rachel Clarke, my sister, and the sooo-in-love Ashley and Steve!

October 20, 2009 - 5:51 pm Emily G - I'm thankful that i have in-laws that love me & don't expect me to be perfect in my "home-making" concepts/ideas/etc. I'm thankful for days off to explore and also to just BE and relax. :) And i'm oh-so-thankful for my ever-patient husband who listens to me and loves me and cares for me. -EmilyG.
