Jessica called me just a week ago because she was coming in from Virginia Beach to welcome her man home! She participated in the OPLove offer through another photographer in the Hampton Roads area but her photographer (bless her heart) was *really* hoping there was a local photographer available here in Lynchburg to capture the reunion since it was about 4 hours away from her and at FOUR in the morning!
Needless to say I was THRILLED to have the opportunity to capture this Homecoming! This was almost as exciting as a birth, except I’ll be honest, I had a harder time holding back the tears during this than I have ever had during a birth. Perhaps it’s because this just happens SO MUCH FASTER. 
Anyway… I loved it… once I parked my car and started walking towards the reunion site, all concept of time and “it’s the middle of the night - are you crazy?!” ideas were GONE. We were all running on endorphines and anticipation and it was an awesome homecoming!
Jessica, thank you to you and Rachel for inviting me to capture your exciting reunion! I hope you love the slideshow!
