In celebration…

Tonight I am sharing a new wallpaper image with you. In celebration of a few things.

• Tomorrow I have a full day at the SPA!!! I am finally cashing in my first anniversary gift certificate (wasn’t my husband so creative with the paper tradition? :)) and I don’t think I’ve ever needed a day to CHILL OUT more than I do right now. Call me a wimp… I’m not even a mom yet! But I am so excited about it. So excited I’m having trouble falling asleep which should explain why I am posting on my blog at 11:55pm.
• These azalea’s represent a plant we were given as a wedding gift by my aunt and uncle. They said “it will bloom every year on your anniversary.” Isn’t that the most thoughtful wedding present EVER? They also gave us a bottle of champagne that has yet to be opened (it was for our first anniversary and the last time Tommy was home was a few weeks before that), but hopefully we’ll celebrate with it soon enough!
• I rented an 85mm f/1.8 lens for my next two upcoming shoots (it’s a try before I buy situation) and it came in the mail today. It’s the lens I used for the image below. Isn’t is gorgeous? Check out the detail on the flowers and the creamy bokeh!! Yummm. I am about 95% sure I’ll be buying this lens next.
• Summer is coming!
